WAFCAT E-Newsletter Vol 90 : March 2018

 26 February 2018, WAFCAT hold the wheelchair donation ceremony for 10 children in Pitsanulok province, which was supported budget to purchase new wheelchairs by “DENSO Charity Rally #2”. There were Mr. Pinai Sirinakorn, VP of DENSO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Chaiyapong Chomechalao, President of DENSO Thailand Worker Union and his team attended the ceremony as the donor representatives. Thank you very much once again!

Besides, project staffs of WAFCAT also had filed follow-up at home with5 past wheelchair recipients at Tha Ta Kieb district in Chachoengsao province on 12 February 2018. We found that those recipients had no problem of using the wheelchair but they only use it at home and stay with grand-parents because their parents have to go out for working. Other problem is children are lacking of physical rehabilitation because they are living very far from the service center and no public transportation so if they go, it would cost high expense!
